Functions
- Carry out regular study on current economic activities,
- Suggest proposed Revenue policy with analytical analysis of positive and negative impact of proposed policy,
- Suggest the amount of revenue to collect or loose on proposed policy,
- Suggest practical policies on the basis of regular interaction with private entrepreneurs '
- Suggest the alternate economic activities for investing productive sector,
- Conduct study on possible economic crime and suggest alternate measures to cope with the area of revenue evasion,
- Conduct study on economic policy, Revenue Policy and planning and suggest the new measures,
- Study the allocation of economic resources and suggest on the basis of national and yearly plan,
- Carry out study through independent economic research institutions and suggest alternate measures,
- Coordinate revenue policy development, and proposed revenue policy which assist to develop public and private sector,
- Prepare proposal on economic policy on the basis of international economic situation and impacts on national economy,
- Work as think tank on revenue policy collecting national and international financial, economic indicators.
